The Newbury Society

The Newbury Society exists to promote interest in the history of Newbury and its surrounding parishes, and to act as a civic forum for discussion of matters which may affect  the town’s heritage.

The Newbury Society has supported the installation by  Newbury Town Council of blue plaques at key historical sites across the town.  There are currently 17 plaques – find out more about each of them and where they are located.
